River Tubing on the Miramichi
Sometimes on those hot, humid, lazy days of summer paddling just isn't an option. You just want to lay back, relax, and let the river guide you. This is where inner tubes come into play. You won't need to lift a finger except to splash your friends! What a great way to spend a hot summer day!
Rate: $10-15 per tube, plus HST
What is tubing all about?
- Inner tubes are available in a variety of sizes to fit young children right up to large adults. Some even have a bottom in them and work well for young children or for carrying along a cooler.
- We suggest that you wear water shoes (not flip-flops) and a bathing suit or clothing that can get wet. Prescription glasses or sunglasses should be tied on so as not to be lost.
- Tubes & shuttle services are available each day, during the summer season, between 10 am - 4 pm.
- Shuttle service is available for a group of up to six people for an additional fee of $15-30, depending on drop off or pick up location.
- Trip length can vary between 1 - 5 hours, with the most popular trip being 2-2 1/2 hrs.
- Life jackets are available on site.
- If you bring a cooler with beverages please make sure there are no glass bottles. And we ask you to look after our river for those that come behind you, and bring all garbage back with you. Our philosphy of "Take nothing but photos, and leave nothing but footprints" will ensure the pristine Miramici River you came here to enjoy will stay that way.
