Trout Fishing

Designed for our overnight guests as an additional outdoor adventure experience, trout fishing is a great low cost option for families with children.

There isn't a package specifically for trout fishing, however, we will help to get you set up as well as shuttle you to a fishing spot if you require.

Some helpful hints before planning your trout fishing adventure:

• The cost of a trout license for 3 days is approximately $33.90(2011 rate).


• Children under the age of 16 do not need a license when fishing with an adult who has a license.


• A small charge for O'Donnell's to provide transportation to the fishing site may apply.


• A guide is not required when fishing in the nearby brooks; however, a guide is required for non-residents when fishing trout in the main Miramichi River ($150/day).
