What's a fiddlehead?  The fiddlehead is actually an ostrich fern, picked just as it emerges from the ground.  This crisp, tasty vegetable is a delicacy around the world that has become synonymous with spring for folks in New Brunswick.

• Morning session is a guided canoe trip to fiddlehead picking grounds for a D-I-Y picking experience

Spring Fishing at O'Donnell's Cottages

O'Donnell's guest is all smiles after bringing in this 31" salmon last week.

The river has receded back to normal springtime levels after some flooding.  Right now is the best fishing on the river and since the traditional early crowd of fishermen has left, no one is taking advantage of it!  Salmon are still in the river and are taking to the line.
