Kayaking, Canoeing and River Tubing….

Kayaking, canoeing and river tubing are just some of the ways you can spend your day on the Miramichi River, Canada. Kayaking and canoeing guides are available to ensure a safe and educational adventure. It doesn’t matter what the weather is like (of course we all want hot and sunny) because, as the saying around here goes, “Any day on the river is a good day!”

Your canoeing and kayaking adventure starts out with the right equipment. All of our canoes and kayaks are made by Old Town. The canoes are 169’s, made of a polylink3 material and have great stability to make you feel secure on calm water. The kayaks are designed specifically for the casual paddler, have excellent stability, easy turning and easy exit. All have a large open cockpit, adjustable seats and foot rest and many come equipped with deck bungees and space hatches. 

Things you will need to bring: Water bottle, Cap, Sun screen, Sunglasses with leash, Paddling footwear and Appropriate clothing. If you wish, a camera in a water proof bag is great to bring along to capture those treasured moments of perhaps a deer grazing along the shore, a salmon leaping from the waters or a bald eagle perched in a tree..

Canoeing in Canada

There is nothing like spending a few relaxing hours on the river with a loved one, a friend, or even a group of friends. So why not take some time off for yourself today and bask in all the beauty the Miramichi River has to offer.

Rental Price: Includes 2 paddles and 2 PFD’s
$40 – $45 per day for day trips
$50 – $60 per day for overnight trips

Kayaking in Canada

Kayaking is as close as you can get to the water without being in it. To paddle your own kayak silently through the crystal clear waters of the Miramichi is a great experience. With our wide selection of kayaks you can decide whether you want to paddle your own kayak or bring that special someone out in a double kayak.  Which ever you decide this is definitely a great way to spend a few hours or a few days on the river.

Rental Price:
$35 / day for a single, includes 1 paddle and 1 PFD
$45 / day for a double, includes 2 paddles and 2 PFD’s

River Tubing in Canada

So far we’ve told you about two different ways to paddle your way down the river. But if you’re like us, paddling just isn’t an option some days. You just want to lay back, relax, and let the river guide you. This is where inner tubes come into play. You won’t need to lift a finger except to scratch your head or splash your friends! What a great way to spend a hot summer day!

Rental Price:
$10 / day
